Are superheroes rolemodels?

Superheroes such as batman superan and spider i believe can be considered good role models for children because they promote values which if practiced by society would create a better place to live in. For example from these superheroes we learn that commiting crimes will lead to severe consequences which children would never want to deal with. To follow heroes who perform such acts of heroism and bravery can only benefit children.
