You, along with the rest of the world, desire to live the American dream. To go from rags to riches or from having relatively nothing to everything you want and more. Dreams of owning a company or working your way to the top of a multimillion dollar corporation fill the minds of adolescents wondering if they can have it all. Similarly, my mind filled with these ambitious ideas as it came time for me to make decisions about my future. As I was admitted to BYU I was challenged to choose a major and it swiftly became obvious to me that a business major is the best major to help me reach my dreams. A business major provides great job security because there are hundreds of thousands of businesses that need people to work them. Everyday more and more businesses are opening that provide jobs. We all need to learn how to work with money or we will go deep into debt and be enslaved to the interest, get divorced from our spouse seeing as most divorces come from issues with money, or we simply will not maximize our life experiences in our endeavors. Communicating, working together in teams toward a common goal, traveling, and becoming a professional and responsible member of society is what is waiting for those who pursue the business major at BYU.

This entry is very well written, and uses several different types of appeals to convince the audience that a business major is the way go. Everyone likes money, or at least they have to live with it, and this entry made some very valid points concerning modern society and the money issues therein. People do need to get their act together and be more responsible. Collectively, we should challenge our frontiers and seek out opportunities to better our situation and that of our communities. I personally liked the authors listing of the various possibilities that come from working in business. Well done.
I agree with what you wrote but business is as vague as it comes so now you need to decide in what you will focus on. Business runs everything.
