How Long Will BYU Students Suffer?: There is a Solution to the Parking on Campus

As a fulltime BYU student, I completely understand the complaints about BYU’s parking on campus. For example, last Wednesday I arose from my slumber painfully early in order to prepare for a quiz that was in my first class here at BYU. Equations and vocabulary danced in my mind as I laboriously reviewed the material. My spirits were high because I was confident in conquering the quiz and all other challenges that lied ahead that day. I even sang and did a little jig as I scrapped off the ice that was attached to the windows of my car. As I drove closer to campus and entered into one of the parking lots my high spirits were replaced by contention and anxiety. I needed to find a parking space so I could get to my class on time for the quiz! As most of us can relate, I ended up in the Marriot Center parking lot thirty minutes later and missed my quiz. The complaints need to turn to action and I know the actions for us to take.

Great job! The reader can really feel the frustration and can relate perfectly to what you are saying. Also very good use of kairos and ethos!

Sick set up of your ethos. You've got credibility, emotional appeal, and logical sense. Your Kairos is set up nicely too. Good job, I like the title you chose.

I think your Kairos was great because I have definitely been in the situation you described! I like the title because it implies you have a solution and I wished that more had been posted in your blog about it. (ie i wanted to read the rest of your paper)
