Biology is by far one of the most useful and exciting majors BYU is offering. The field of Biology is blossoming into a dominant science that will affect almost every aspect of our lives in the coming future. But why is Biology so important? Biology is the study of life and its processes. An understanding of Biology will allow you to appreciate the complexities of life and give you a better understanding of the world around you. But most importantly, I think Biology is the best major at BYU because with advances in our understanding and manipulation of genetic and other biological materials the potential for Biology has sky rocketed. No longer is the science confined to observing and explaining biological events, we now have the ability at our fingertips to alter and change these different life processes. This is a thrilling new ability that puts the study of Biology at the cutting edge of modern science. The foundation of knowledge that is received from majoring in Biology at BYU will give me the skills I need to progress into this exciting field.

I took a Biology class last semester and it was really interesting. I love learning about how life works
It has a nice title and i think that it is well written. You made it sound exciting and new. Biology has been around forever but you make sound interesting. Good job.
I think that you touched on the most fascinating thing about biology, the field of genetic research. With the advent of that type of technology there will exist the ability to cure many now devastating diseases and provide ample food for the worlds starving.
