Statistics is one of the best majors here at BYU and probably the most fun math that there is. The reason statistics is so great is because you get to take numbers and data from real life and then use math to find out what those numbers actually mean. You can apply statistics to almost any field to help you get information and make decisions. Another reason that I love statistics is because it is somewhat easier than other math fields, yet people are still very impressed when I tell them that I am a Statistics major. Above all, statistics is a great major because you can help people while having fun.
