Super heroes are not scandalous
To single out these three super-heroes (Batman, Superman, and Spiderman) as bad role models for our children because of their apparel would be a gross mistake. Children are exposed to scandalously dressed people every single day of their lives, and most of those people are not as valiant or upstanding as the three fore mentioned role models are. Also, the super-heroes clothing is used not for sexual arousal or to draw attention to themselves, but to strengthen their ability to fight by not having loose clothing that their opponents can hold on to. I would not mind my children being exposed to these three scandalously dressed men if it meant they were taught the value of honesty, care-giving, and service, which is what these heroes stand for. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
