I personally do not believe that Computer Science is the best major at BYU. All the majors offered at BYU are great majors. They all have their benefits and they all appeal to many different people. I believe that the real question should be “Why is it the best major for me?” Computer Science is the best major for me because I love looking at problems and trying to figure out the best way to solve them. That is all Computer Science is, looking at problems and trying to come up with the best solution. Yes, you do have to learn computer programming languages, but I really like learning languages. I have always wanted to design video games and software and the only way for me to have my dreams come true is to become a Computer Science major and learn how to program. Those are a few reasons why Computer Science is the best major for me.

I also was considering Computer Science, but i decided i wanted to do something a little more hands-on while still working with computers. I ended up in engineering, but I still think that what you're doing is awesome. Nice job changing the question in a way that supported your argument.
