The death traps we call roads: Why Provo needs more snow plows.

You wake up in the morning and look outside to see what the weather is like. No surprise to you, it is snowing again. The sidewalks and streets are covered and you are not able to differentiate between the grass and the sidewalk. You get ready for the day, go outside and almost fall and kill yourself because the snow is extremely wet. The day progresses and the snow turns into slush making everything wet. Night settles and the temperature decreases; the slush freezes and the roads become ice-skating rinks. You wonder why the roads have not been cleared of all the snow and ice yet and then it hits you: there are no snow plows anywhere to be seen and you have not seen one all day. The only reasonable explanation for this phenomenon is that Provo does not have enough snow plows. With snow still falling around us, we need to bring this problem to the attention of the Provo authorities.
