Marriage is the most important organization in the United States today. However, many people today are ignoring it and are actually destroying the institution of marriage by seeking divorces. In fact, one of my uncles got divorced, so there must be people getting divorced all over the place. If people keep getting divorced at this rate, marriage will soon be gone from the United States and no one will be happy.
As a member of the BYU lacrosse team, I’m well acquainted with the importance of marriage and working together as husband and wife. My wife often has to get up early to go to work, and when I get up with her to eat breakfast and make her lunch it makes her feel really happy. Sometimes I even make pancakes or something that she really likes. This illustrates the fact that performing acts of service is the key to a successful marriage.
If people continue to feel that divorce is an acceptable escape route from marriage when the going gets tough then it will begin to lose it’s integrity as an institution. Families will weaken and morals will not be taught to children, and those children will grow up to be dishonest criminals and probably murderers. We need to make sure that the institutions of family and marriage are protected!

Nice Slippery Slope where the kids turn into criminals and murderers.
You did a good job of using the slippery slope fallacy at the end. It was very effective for you!
False Authority: You aren't really an expert on marriage because you are ont the BYU lacrosse team...although I wish this were true.
The kids turn into criminals and murders, that is a slippery slope for sure. Nice job.
