Piano vs. Violin
As everybody knows, the piano is most supreme, complex, and beautiful instrument ever made. First developed in the Romantic period (the early 1800 hundreds) the piano was utilized as a solo instrument in classical symphonies and sonatas. The violin, an instrument that has been around since the Baroque period (1700’s), is old, outdate, and not as beautiful as the piano when it comes to sonata solos. The piano is better at a solo in 2 ways: timbre and complexity.
Timbre, is the sound an instrument resonates, and the complex sound of a piano make it a highly complex timbre. The sound of a violin and the sound of piano is like a BB gun vs. a hand grenade: no comparison! The complexity at which piano’s can play pieces also far surpasses the violin. Violin can only play one note at a time, and a piano, many. This complex sound and complex timbre make the piano far better. As a college student taking a Music class, I know a good instrument when I hear one, and piano the is the far better choice.
It is common knowledge that there are more people playing the piano than playing the violin, it’s just common sense. Every time I have played the piano, I felt smarter, and every time I even heard the piano, I felt dumber; it is obvious that piano makes you smarter. This can only mean one thing: if you don’t play the piano, you will be dumber.

Good use of poisoning the well, right at the beginning.
