Taking Action

College students in general go through some very stressful times. Time management is one of the many items on their agendas constantly. At BYU I strongly believe there are ways to help students  with the task of manging their time. More off-campus parking must be created in order to accommodate those attending BYU.
I live on the south east end of the university in off-campus condos. On street I live on there are about six apartment complexes. The parking is so outrageous that if you are coming home sometimes after ten thirty you can plan on driving around for up to thirty minutes trying to park your car. With this problem gong on hundreds of students park their cars on 450 north and crowd up the street making it very dangerous. My friend Thomas parked his car over night our on the street and was woken up the next morning with a policemen knocking on our door. His car had been hit and the complete back end had to be repaired.
The cities solution is to make it illegal to park of 450 north. Where do they presume all these vehicles will be parked? I have a solution. Parking garages would more than handle this little situation we have inconveniencing us. This provides us with plenty of parking space, covered protection and minimal square feet would be occupied with the building plans.
Honestly I know for a fact I do not stand alone with the issue of parking space, so I expect our voices to now be heard and the solution put into action. The results are only positive and all will benefit from more off-campus parking.

Definitely agree with you on off-campus parking. I think what ruins dates for me, is when I get back from them, feeling good and excited, it's all gone by the time I find a spot. Luckily, my sister's undergroud parking garage is only 2 blocks away, and nobody ever checks it for permits! Thats my alternative. But the idea is good, you get my approval!

You wrote a great blog. I’m writing on the same issue so I know how you feel. My only constructive criticism would be to make your sentences flow together more smoothly.
