Fallacy

There is a volleyball game tonight that everyone should attend; bur first let me tell you about football. As a water polo player, I am an expert in the field of football. Everyone in America thinks that American football is the best sport to participate in or be a fan of, therefore you should be a fan also. If you don’t like football, then you are not going to watch the Super Bowl. Because you did not watch the game your friends are not going to invite you to do things ever again. Now you will be without friends and will become old and live all alone. If you don’t come around and make football your favorite sport, no one will ever talk to you again.

Haha I like how you used the slippery-slope fallacy and said that "you will be without friends and will become old and live all alone." That was a good way to use this fallacy. Good job.

Definitely some false authority here.
But water polo is a cool sport.
Well done.

As knowledgeable as water polo players may be (I should know, I was one) Using that as the source for your knowledge of football is a clear example of the false authority fallacy.
