The earth is getting warmer and the carbon emissions being spewed out by the power plants are not helping. We want our kids to be able to see blue sky and with the amount of carbon being put into the atmosphere by the power plants, this is not going to happen any time soon. However, because Nuclear Power produces so little carbon, switching to Nuclear Power plants instead of Natural Gas ones would help global warming by not producing as much carbon.

I would say that you did a good job on all of the syllogisms and I found nothing wrong with the use of an active voice or the tense of it.
Every thing looks really good. There were no mistakes with active voice.
