Is it real so important? To be debt free...

To be or not to be...In debt
I understand the feeling of just wanting to give up when in debt. It seems impossible to ever get out especially when most of our time here at BYU is being used to study , but I found that it is easier to not look at the whole but to take it a step at a time. Consistent payments slowly help reduce the debt and improve a student's credit report and credit score. Even if this means making the minimum payment due this still allows you to chip away at the total sum. What I was able to learn from this chipping away process was the actuality of how much money I had spent I finally had a real dose of reality and learned how to be able to distinguish between my wants and my needs and how important it is to take responsible control of my finances.

I think you could establish the kairos of your subject a little better, and make it clear why i should believe this is a problem.

Good start on establishing your ethos. It just needs a little personal detail and it'll be perfect. As well make your stronger Kairos, specifically point out yours audience as BYU kids and don't just mention it in passing. I also like the title "The Worth of Plastic."

I really like how you provided the reader with a break down to take it "step by step" debt can be a very daunting thing and I think you established your credibility well. I prefer "The Worth of Plastic" for your title, I think it is clever and that it will grab your reader's attention. You may want to strengthen your Kairos. Good luck!
