Ever since I was little, I questioned myself on how do supermarkets and other stores run; how do they get enough revenue, pay the costs, and still get enough profit for expansion? To answer those questions, one must have a degree in business.
Businesses are all around us. In fact, BYU is a business; its goal is to provide education, while the Church supports the funding. The thing is, every industry, which generates revenues and profits, is a business. Businesses run the economy and make our country and the standard of living here richer and better. By majoring in business, there are so many opportunities for one’s career. So many employers look for better business men and women, because they are mainly in charge of how successful a company would be.
By majoring in business, one chooses him/herself to be a leader. Business men and women do not sit and clean up someone’s mess; they are in charge. They put out so much influence on the world, when other ordinary workers do not.
Lots of companies hire people who majored in business, but have them do another duty on the job. This is because the major provides so much experience and a professional outlook for life, that this knowledge can be used practically anywhere!
