Touching Lives Forever!
There are several majors to choose from at Brigham Young University; however, the major that I have chosen to pursue is Elementary Education. My major is the best major because I have the opportunity to influence the lives of many children for the better. When I become an Elementary teacher, I will be able to help children raise their self-esteem and boost their self-confidence. As a teacher, I will be able to encourage children and help them formulate the desire to become life long learners. Encouraging life long learning will assist children throughout their lives so that they can live better and more successful lives. I believe in the saying "To teach is to touch lives forever." A great teacher has the capability of reaching out and touching the younger generations. Therefore, Elementary Education is certainly the best major.

Do you have personal memories of and elementary teacher that changed your outlook on education?
I am sort of jealous of you. When you get done with school you will go off and get a job teaching little kids. You will be able to help them grow up and you will be able to see all the funny moments of their lives. I loved my elementary teachers because they were always so friendly.
