Basketball is the best sport because playing it will make you happier than any other sport. Before I answer your question of how many injuries occur every year while playing basketball, I need to explain the joys everybody obtains by playing this great game. Michael Jordan said, “Making a jump shot on a basketball court is the greatest feeling in the world; confidence and elation are the emotions that take over my body knowing that the opponent has been defeated.” If you want to be happy then play basketball because you will feel the same feelings that Michael Jordan feels. Also, everybody plays basketball and loves Michael Jordan; you also can play with all the others and receive the joy that you have been looking for in your life. If you are still not convinced, after Michael Jordan plays a basketball game he gets paid millions of dollars; if you play basketball you too can be paid millions of dollars. On the other hand, if you don’t play basketball you can expect coldness, darkness, and unhappiness all of your life because nobody will like you; not even your parents will like you.

Good use of the red herring at the beginning! it totally worked to distract me away from the injury part and to the advantages you get from playing.
Not everyone loves Michael Jordan (I am not sure why) so that's a hasty generalization.

IF i played basketball i would not make millions of dollars that is for sure. But nice use of the hasty generalization fallacy.
Way to threaten. I would hate it if my parents started disliking me. I would have no way to get money.
